Students at Shin Wa Kan Dojo are taught that peace comes from a position of strength, not weakness, and that the only way to learn that strength, and the inner peace it brings, is through true humility. Through the training and practice of the Seven Virtues of the Samurai,
Courage, Rightfulness, Benevolence, Truthfulness, Courtesy, Loyalty and HONOUR,
students learn the "forging of the spirit", for true personal development and character building.
Students learn to focus on priorities in their lives, to deal with life in truth and honour, and through the practice of self-discipline, to face adversity with courage and strength.
